01Send Looph activity to a Segment HTTP API source as track calls, such as Post Created, Post Voted, Post Status Changed, Comment Created and Changelog Published, so feedback sits next to product usage in one pipeline.
02Send Segment's identify and group calls to Looph through an Extensible Webhook destination, so company, plan and MRR appear beside the people behind each request.
03With that data in Looph, sort the admin Posts inbox by Most MRR or Most customers, and filter it by the plan, company or MRR of the people who voted.

Native connection

How it works

Segment is a two-way connection you set up inside Looph, on Growth and Business. Outbound, Looph sends events through the same delivery queue as Slack and Zapier, in batches to Segment's US or EU endpoint, with your write key stored encrypted. You choose the events under What Looph sends; Post Assigned, Post Tagged and Post Untagged start switched off, and the text of a comment is never sent.

Inbound, Looph gives you a webhook URL and a bearer token, which is shown once. Segment sends identify and group calls there, and Looph attaches the traits to the matching people on your boards; turn on Match board users by email to match by email address too. Other call types are ignored.

Customer data informs sorting and filtering only. Every vote still counts once, and weighting votes by revenue is not available.

Setup

Setting up Segment

1Make sure the workspace is on Growth or Business. Connecting needs the Integrations permission, which the owner and admins have by default.
2In Segment, create an HTTP API source and copy its write key.
3In Looph, open Settings, then Integrations, and choose Segment under Analytics. Under Send Looph activity to Segment, paste the write key, say whether your Segment workspace is in the EU, and choose Connect Segment. Your source's Debugger in Segment should then show Looph Connected.
4Under What Looph sends, switch events on or off.
5To bring customer data in, go to Send your customer data to Looph, create the token and copy the webhook URL. In Segment, add the Extensible Webhook destination, paste the URL, choose Bearer token, paste the token and turn on the identify and group mappings.
