What you will be able to do with HubSpot

Coming soon. The HubSpot integration is not available yet; this page describes how it is planned to work and what you can use in the meantime.

  • 01A HubSpot connection is planned to match the people who post and vote on your boards with their HubSpot contacts and companies.
  • 02With that match, you will be able to see which accounts are behind a request, not just how many votes it has.
  • 03Until it launches, tags and internal notes hold account context inside Looph, and Make can pass status changes on to HubSpot; the steps are below.

Available today

What you can do today

Looph can't read HubSpot yet, but your team can record which accounts are behind a request today, and Make can tell HubSpot when a request moves. The Make card is built on the API and webhooks, which start on Starter; tags and internal notes are on every plan.

  1. 1Create a tag for each plan or key account, add it to the posts those customers asked for, and filter the admin inbox by that tag to see their requests together.
  2. 2Keep deal and account details in internal notes on the post. Customers never see them.
  3. 3To update HubSpot, create a Make scenario that starts with a custom webhook, add its address to the Make card under Settings, then Integrations, and choose Post status changed.
  4. 4In the scenario, add a HubSpot CRM module, for example to create a task for the account owner with the post's title, new status and link from the event.

Coming soon

How it will work

The HubSpot integration is coming soon. It is listed as Coming soon in Looph's settings and cannot be connected yet, so nothing on this page can be set up today.

Looph does not weight votes by plan or revenue today, and there is no way yet to pass account details in when a customer signs in to your board; both are coming soon. Every vote counts once.

Looph's plans count tracked voters, the customers who vote, not CRM contacts, so enriching every HubSpot contact who votes won't add to that count.

Setup

Setting up HubSpot: what to expect

  1. 1Once it launches, a workspace Owner or Admin will connect HubSpot from Settings, then Integrations.

For what you can build today, see the API and webhooks reference.

Plans

Which plans include HubSpot

None yet: the HubSpot integration is coming soon, so no plan includes it today. When it launches, this page and the pricing page will say which plans do.
