What you will be able to do with Salesforce

Coming soon. The Salesforce integration is not available yet; this page describes how it is planned to work and what you can use in the meantime.

  • 01A Salesforce connection is planned to match the people behind each request with their Salesforce accounts, so account owners can see what their customers asked for.
  • 02Today, reps and CSMs can join Looph as members to follow requests, comment and add internal notes; members are free on every plan, so sales doesn't need a paid licence to capture what they hear.
  • 03Until it launches, tags and internal notes hold account context inside Looph, and Make can pass status changes on to Salesforce; the steps are below.

Available today

What you can do today

Looph can't read Salesforce yet, but sales and CS can track their accounts' requests in Looph today, and Make can tell Salesforce when a request moves. The Make card is built on the API and webhooks, which start on Starter; tags, internal notes and following posts are on every plan.

  1. 1Invite reps and CSMs to Looph as members, and have them follow the posts their accounts care about, so they are told when the status changes.
  2. 2Create a tag for each key account, add it to the posts that account asked for, and filter the admin inbox by that tag before a renewal call.
  3. 3Keep opportunity and account details in internal notes on the post. Customers never see them.
  4. 4To update Salesforce, create a Make scenario that starts with a custom webhook, add its address to the Make card under Settings, then Integrations, choose Post status changed, and add a Salesforce module, for example to create a task with the post's title, new status and link.

Coming soon

How it will work

The Salesforce integration is coming soon. It is listed as Coming soon in Looph's settings and cannot be connected yet, so nothing on this page can be set up today.

Looph does not weight votes by account value today, and there is no way yet to pass account fields in when a customer signs in to your board; both are coming soon. Every vote counts once.

The B2B customer success use case is the reason to want it: when CSMs can see that a blocking request moved to Planned, they can say so before the renewal conversation instead of after it.

Setup

Setting up Salesforce: what to expect

  1. 1Once it launches, a workspace Owner or Admin will connect Salesforce from Settings, then Integrations.

For what you can build today, see the API and webhooks reference.

Plans

Which plans include Salesforce

None yet: the Salesforce integration is coming soon, so no plan includes it today. When it launches, this page and the pricing page will say which plans do.

None yet, because the Salesforce integration hasn't launched. When it does, this page and the pricing page will say which plans include it.
