What you will be able to do with Microsoft Teams

Coming soon. The Microsoft Teams integration is not available yet; this page describes how it is planned to work and what you can use in the meantime.

  • 01New board posts will arrive in a Teams channel, so cross-functional stakeholders see requests without another login.
  • 02Status changes will reach the channel too, so what account teams tell customers matches the public roadmap.
  • 03Each published changelog entry will be shared in the channel, so customer-facing colleagues can pass it on to the accounts that asked.

Available today

What you can do today

You can get Looph events into a Teams channel today through Make: the Make card in Looph's settings sends the events you choose to a Make scenario, and Make's Microsoft Teams app posts them. The Make card is built on the API and webhooks, which start on Starter.

  1. 1In Make, create a scenario whose first module is a custom webhook, from the Webhooks app, and copy its address.
  2. 2In Looph, open Settings, then Integrations, add the address to the Make card, choose events such as New post created, Post status changed and Changelog entry published, and send a test event.
  3. 3In the scenario, add the Microsoft Teams module that sends a message to a channel, and map the post's title, status and link from the event into it.
  4. 4Turn the scenario on. Each event you chose now arrives in the channel, and failed deliveries are retried.

Coming soon

How it will work

The Microsoft Teams integration is coming soon. It is listed as Coming soon in Looph's settings and cannot be connected yet, so nothing on this page can be set up today.

It is planned to work like the Slack and Discord connections: you will choose a channel, the events it receives and the boards they come from, and Looph will post a card for each one.

Because members are free on every plan, the people reading these alerts can also be invited into Looph as members, where they can read internal notes and comment, at no extra cost.

Setup

Setting up Microsoft Teams: what to expect

  1. 1Once it launches, a workspace Owner or Admin will connect Teams from Settings, then Integrations.
  2. 2You will choose the channel, the events it should receive and the boards they come from.

For what you can build today, see the API and webhooks reference.

Which plans include Microsoft Teams
